Boozy Little Black Book: Caramel Appletini

I hope you’re ready to ramp up your beverage making skills with some juicing equipment. The Caramel Appletini requires a juicer to get the fresh apple taste. I don’t suggest making this drink with a concentrated apple juice substitute because you’ll lose the fresh crisp flavour.

The Smirnoff Kissed Caramel Vodka is a nice warm counter to the apple’s bite, and keeps this drink on the sweeter side instead of the bitter one. And finally, for your caramel drizzle, make sure your caramel is warmed and thin, otherwise it won’t sit on top of your appletini, but sink to the bottom.

Caramel Appletini

ice cubes

1.5 oz Smirnoff Kissed Caramel Vodka

¼ oz lemon juice

one apple, juiced

caramel, to drizzle

How to:

1. Juice one apple in a juicer. I used a Granny Smith apple, and a Breville juicer.

2. Add ice, fresh apple juice, vodka and lemon juice to mixer. Shake.

3. Pour into martini glass and drizzle with warm caramel. Serve.
